<<< Does anyone out there have a nice list of recipes and
the source (I'm tired but the example I can think of
is Chocolate chip cookies -- Betty Crocker cookbook)
or dishes suitible for a Vegan feast or vegetarian
feast out there ready to be sourced? So that you
might have an all vegan feast etc. >>>
Since Vegan is a subset of Vegetarian, and since while the latter is
period the former doesn't appear to be, I have not split out a file
specifically on Vegan recipes.
However, perhaps this file in the FOOD section of the Florilegium
might be a good place to start:
vegetarian-msg (77K) 12/15/04 Medieval vegetarianism. Lenten
foods.
This file in the FOOD-MANUSCRIPTS section might be worth looking at
as well:
Guisados2-art (116K) 5/28/01 "Libre del Coch". part 2 of 2.
Lenten recipes.
These Lenten feasts in the FEASTS section might also be of use:
fish-feast-art (6K) 3/29/00 Details and recipes for a mid-Lent
"fish feast" by Rudd Rayfield.
Lenten-Fst-mnu-art (9K) 4/ 4/04 The menu for a small feast in
Lent by Brekke
Franksdottir.
Mid-Lent-Dnnr-art (7K) 4/27/01 A Mid-Lenten dinner by Rudd
Rayfield.
