Howdy,
I just got back this weekend from a business trip over to Germany and
was curious if anyone on the list had a recipe for dibbelabbes. It's
a regional dish that seems to be limited to the Saarland (around
Saarbruecken, which is were I was), and consists of a sort of large
potato pancake with bits of meat and usually served with applesauce.
I could only find them in the cheaper pubs, and they go really well
with dark beer.
[homer] MmmmMMMmmm ... Dibbelabbes mit apfelmus! [/homer]
