I took a look at the photo and was puzzled.  It would seem to me that if he
wanted to do such he should do it more in a period style.  The only fully
armed chainmailed and active depiction I recall offhand had the person
kneeling clasping the sword with the blade down and the hilt upright such
that it formed a cross.  The others armed and with sword that I recall are
funeral bronzes with the person depicted as dead/asleep.  Be that as it may
in my opinion a portrait shot in a period style appropriate to his persona
would have been a far better choice.
