I went to a rural high school where the ads were from the local feed store,
the local large animal vet, a couple of local restaurants including Dairy
Queen, and a corner grocery store. Oh, and a couple of charter fishing
services if my memory serves...My Singapore American High School yearbooks
(1979-81) have ads from Bechtel, Mobile, and other types of corporations who
helped to support the school. I think that military recruiters often place
ads as well.
