He's on the list where it first showed up ;-) I have no doubt he has
plans for it ;-)

As for me, I'm thinking things through, as usual- kinda busy on the
design for the trunk bed I want to build- was up all night because
ideas kept popping into my head every time I tried to lie down and go
to sleep.

But, my thought would be that this is a gentleman;s personal tool.
While most personal necessities would be handled by servants, one must
feed oneself, open one's own mail, clean one's ears, etc, particularly
if one were on the road. I can just see some huckster hanging out at
the Forum selling these to the Noble Gentlemen who are now assigned to
the farther provinces, sayinf, "And for only one denarius, 15 asses,
you too can have the amazing..."
