[Sca-cooks] OOP(?): Fragrant Candle Cookies

I just got a recipe from an online retailer that is very unusual. It is from
a Thai foods importer. The cookies are flavored by lighting what they call a
candle but sounds more like incense to me and leaving it in the container
with the cookies. The smoke from the candle permeates the cookies and
provides the flavor. Has anyone else ever heard of this? Have you tried it?
