In part I was kidding. However, I would be interested in any evidence  
of dogs being eaten in our period and area of study.

This 1000 +1 ways to wok your dog, sounds like it is likely out of  
period and probably out of our area of study.

Adamantius, I have "Strange Foods", but not "Unmentionable Cuisine".  
Where and when are the cured dog hams and barbecued dog from?
