I haven't heard anything about this yet, so I'll ask in a different way.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Considering we are doing finger foods for
4000 people, we are planning on keeping it very simple with deli trays,
veggie trays, cookies, and the like.

My household (Amazon!) has been honored(?) with organizing the KWP at Gulf
War this year. I was wondering if anyone here knows who organized the party
last year so we can get some information. 

All we know as of now is that we have a food budget and we should plan for
about 4000 people. We'd like to know how they divvied up the budget last
year and any lessons learned. I figured this was as good of a place to start
as any. 

Please pass this on, along with my email address to anyone who might have
some information.
