[Sca-cooks] Liqueur question...

Greetings to the List!

I hope you are all enjoying your holiday.

I am sure that someone out there can give me a quick answer to this 
question: how many ounces (liquid) are in a fifth of alcohol. I'm 
trying to figure out how many batches of a liqueur to get ingredients 
for (fresh bay leaves coming up from California!).

I know I could probably find the answer on the 'net, but my browser 
is being particulary twitchy since my computer crash last month, and 
tends to hang.
