[Sca-cooks] Fish Roe

When the carp were laying we used to harvest the roe and the milts, then
dredge them in a cornmeal batter, and deep fry them.  Delicious!!  I prefer
the milt to the roe, actually.

In the Jewish tradition I was raised in (sort of) that would be called the  
'milts'
