[Sca-cooks] Charles Perry on al-Warraq

Here's a nice article that was posted to one of the SCA-Middle 
Eastern lists i'm on.

It's by Charles Perry with about al-Warraq's 10th century cookbook 
that collected recipes from the 9th and 10th century Baghdad. It 
includes what appear to be some of Perry's modern versions of recipes 
- and some lovely bright sun-drenched art by someone else, although 
one appears to have chiles in it (tsk, tsk, tsk)
