Yep. Also had sweet potatoes in that batch. Tasted pretty good, too, just
wasn't the preferred flavor, when someone had their mind set on beef stew
;-)

Well, plans are changing for munchies the next few days. Just got a couple
cans of tuna to try for one of my surveys ;-) Should be interesting ;-)
As to the sauce, the last time I made a big batch of spaghetti sauce (I tend
to make it and freeze it in 2 person ziplocks),

I used to, too, but one person. Now I make a batch, and send the leftovers
to work for lunch.

I was feeling experimental and did a mixture of meats (ground beef, pork,
and lamb), along with standard tomatoes, onions, etc. The interesting thing
about the recipe was the addition of nutmeg, which gave it a really nifty
flavor. Just a thought.

Nutmeg sounds good. It really perks up the chicken in apple sauce and cream
sauce I've been making.

Don't like getting old? Beats the Hel out of the alternative.

The purpose of life is not to arrive at the grave, a beautiful corpse,
pretty and well-preserved, but to slide in sideways, thoroughly used up,
totally worn out, proclaiming, "Wow! What a ride!"
