Depends on where you live as to whether you can buy them locally (I often find them in health food or New Age/Wiccan/pagan stores). Otherwise, you'll find lots of online sources.

Subject: [Sca-cooks] Cubebs and Grains of Paradise

OK, I have been curious about Grains of Paradise for a while now
 so give
up with some locations to get these (I am betting the local Super Wal-Mart
doesnt keep em in stock) ,

Cubebs: Quibbes; Quibibes; Quybibe; Quybibes; Quybibys; Quybybis - cubebs, a
spice related to pepper.

The dried, unripe berry of a climbing vine of the pepper family - sometimes
called tailed pepper.

Culpeper : That you may reap benefit by these, be pleased to consider, that
they are some of them. Hot in the third degree. Juniper Berries, Cloves
Carpobalsamum, Cubebs, Anacardium, bitter Almonds

Grains of paradise : Graynys of parise or perys - grains of paradise;
however, some scholars say this is actually plain pear seeds, or ground-up
dried pears.

Melegueta pepper, Guinea grains, Guinea pepper. The seeds of afromomum, a
plant ... Lithospermum officinale, referred to as gromel by Culpeper (1653),

Trendy in the Middle Ages, these crunchy little seeds from West Africa
deserve a comeback. They taste of spicy, nutty black pepper, cardamom and
lemon.

Appropriated to the body of man, and so they Heat the stomach. Annis,
Bishop's weed, Amomus, Smallage, Cummin, Cardamoms, Cubebs, Grains of
Paradise

Culpeper notes (p. 88) "the seeds or leaves taken in wine, provoketh to
venery... the juice of the herb in ale or beer, and drank, promotes the
courses." (TTEM)
