I think my daughter would like this one. Looks like we may need to go back and pick some since I like all the recipes thus far

i am not big on desserts, but here is something my mother
used to make that i loved as a kid.

1 recipe biscuit dough
1 qt. pitted cherries
2 tbsp butter
1 c sugar

cheesecloth

steamer arrangement of choice.

roll bisquit dough into rectangle. place cherries on
top, leaving about an inch all around the perimeter of the
dough. sprinkle with sugar and dot with butter. roll up
the dough, trying to keep the cherries inside. ;) pinch
the edges together.

wrap in cheesecloth and place on a rack/plate/whatever and
steam for about one and a half hours.

serve warm with a warm thin custard sauce.

really good with the little blue plums as well. they get
really purply-juicy.
