[Sca-cooks] Cherries, cherries and more cherries

Fill a quart jar with pitted cherries.  Pour sugar in to fill spaces.  Pour
in 2 parts brandy to 1 part vodka (or all parts white brandy, which is what
I do).  Put on cap.  Shake well,  Hide in dark place for 4 months.
Strain out cherries, re jar liquor with simple syrup to taste, put back in
dark place and let mellow - the longer the better.
Eat strained out cherries over ice cream at adult ice cream social.
