Of course we think so (us with our drawing the line at 1600 )but the 
publisher who created
the subtitle "from AD 1660 to 1690 by a Noble Family of Elizabethan 
England."
seemed to like the idea of it being Elizabethan. Just another one of 
those odd things
about an unusual volume.
