[Sca-cooks] Favorite Frugal Pennsic Meals

Being invited out to eat. Actually my husband went to
the War by himself in 82 when we were still students. I think
he ate mac and cheese, rice, and packages of dried corned beef
that were selling for 3 for a dollar.
I know he got upset because his sister and her two vegetarian
friends ruined his mac and cheese one night when they added
mushrooms to it. The War only lasted about 4 days at that time so
it wasn't like he had to survive for 2 weeks on that diet.
