Here's another person leaving for a fabulous 3-week stint in England
with
Johnna Holloway, Guillane de Vaux, and Devra the Baker.  They are better
than I, however.  I discovered around 2 pm yesterday that I was
scheduled
to leave *today* (Tues) instead of Wednesday.  Thank goodness I had
already
started packing and had done the laundry, etc.  It's been a scramble
moving
my mental state to leaving today instead of tomorrow.  Got an extra day
in
York which is just fantastic!  

Oh, yes... We all get to meet Gervase Markham next Monday.  He'll have
dinner with us at our workshop with Ivan Day.  He's a direct descendant
of
the 16th century Markham and will be bringing some of his library for us
to
look at. <grin>
