[Sca-cooks] blue cheese? sampling spices?

on finding out what spices taste like...
I usually have brave students crunch one, but its also nice to mix some with butter 
as some flavors are best oil solubilized. certainly mooshing some in a mortar and 
pestle and taking a good whiff is good too! :)
