Master El of the Two Knives came up with a curry blend that doesn't use 
capsicum in it, and gave the recipe to Auntie Arwen, who markets it 
as "Auntie Arwen's Two Knives Special Curry Blend" at Pennsic and on line:

It's very tasty. I use it occasionally, when I want curry flavor, but not 
heat (granted, not often ;-). Ingredients are:

Turmeric, coriander, foenugreek, cinnamon, cumin, ginger, galangal, green 
cardamom, saffron, cloves.

Maybe this will help some others of you who just don't do capsicum.
