About 30 minutes from my house. Littlerock is just around the corner (like 5-10 minutes away). Though much of their orchards are being closed or sold for housing..

Darkwell this year will actually be held on the border of Littlerock and Palmdale. Near Littlerock Damn. Hmm if I liked fish I could always go fishing there and cook some for Darkwell. Would be nice and fresh.

As for where to pick cherries, there is only one place in Beaumont
that I know of, but there are at least a dozen places in Leona Valley
[Palmdale area], three in Little Rock and one in Llano that I know of.

But I still would like to go.
