[Sca-cooks] OOP-pumpkin question

Greetings unto the list,
   
  Here I have 2 nice little pie pumpkins-purchased about a week ago sitting on my counter.  Since thanksgiving is still a few weeks away I was wondering if I can go ahead and cut them up, bake them, and then mash them and freeze it until it comes time to make pies.  
  So, my question-
  Does cooked pumpkin goo freeze well?
