I recall a mention of horn spoons being used for lab work and pharmacy prep
because once polished, they were pretty much inert to acids, bases and darn
easy to just wipe clean. Your surfaces might vary.. Pyro

I guess that is what I was getting at when I mentioned the
Viking horn drinkers out there. There are a lot of horns
being sold as food safe now from reliable merchants.

I'd go with one of them.
