[Sca-cooks] rock salt

If I may be permitted a brief trip down memory lane ...

one of my earlier childhood memories is of my two brothers on the receiving 
end of a shotgun loaded with rock salt.

See ... the boys were fond of robbing apples from the neighbors tree.

Forrest was less drastically caught ... getting only three or four pellets 
in his calf

Randy ... on the other hand, was somewhat larger, chubbier, and heavier ... 
getting the full blast in his hind quarters.

I must have been ... three years old, so the memory is fuzzy, but there 
seemed to be a lot of hollering interspersed with a lot of laughing.

And

They never stole apples again,
