[Sca-cooks] burn marks

Pyrex is not designed for stove top use.  Or to go from freezer to hot oven.
Corningware is.  Look at the bottom of the dish to see if you can subject it
to the heat of a chasing dish flame first.  Pyrex has a nasty habit of
exploding.

Also, if you use the old camper's trick, and apply soap to the bottom
of the pan before you put it on the fire, any soot and smoke marks
come right off.
