[Sca-cooks] Red Wine for Game Marinade

Re: the quality of red wine for cooking. I inadvertantly did a small 
experiment on this subject recently.

Normally I use Carlo Rossi red wine for cooking, inexpensive and comes in a 
jug. I happened to be out of it when along came the gorgeous 7-bone roast that 
was begging to be pot roasted.

I did have half a bottle of my favorite Syrraz (sp?) on hand, so into the pot 
it went.

I could not tell any difference. Your palate may vary.
