[Sca-cooks] venison

When it comes to venison I have always marinated it in Italian salad dressing.This helps keep it from being tough and removes any gamie taste to it .the deer my Husband shoots tend to eat a lot of acorns which has a lot of tanic acid and can be quite strong.of course we always cook it aver an open fire after cutting it into stake size strips
