we have had snow on the mountains this week.

rainy weather has kept the people at the albuquerque 
baloon fiesta on tenterhooks.  hopefully we will have a 
warm, wet winter to ease the drought conditions that lay 
deeper than most realize.

the trees are hurling their leaves to the ground.

time to make the green chile and pumpkin stew!
