[Sca-cooks] Cabernet Grape Pie

That's Sweetie Pie's Bakery.  They're behind the
library and do pretty good breakfast pastries.  As the
library doors don't open until 10am it makes a lovely
beginning to a leisurely day.  They haven't made it in
awhile but the grapes are being harvested right about
now so it should hit the pastry case soon.

Anyone interested in a lovely, reasonably priced
downtown Napa house?  It goes on the market on
Saturday.  *sigh*  Back to mucking out rooms...

On one of the various food network shows, I saw
someone from Napa make 
a 
cabernet grape pie. She just used the grapes whole --
seeds and all -- 
apparently the seeds when cooked add a nice nutty
flavor and texture. I 
don't know what the sugar content of your grapes might
be, but it might 
be 
worth a try.
