There are several different versions that have been published. Each  
with its own advantages ad disadvantages. This file has ommentary on  
several of them, although I don't think it covers the latest one yet,  
which just came out.

I don't have any of the Apicius books. I do have a copy of Nanna's.   
If you want more unusual recipes, get Nanna's book.
