Some of the content is 19th-century-derived, but the references to  
chewets, for example, appear to be based on late-period  
illustrations. And chewets themselves go back to the 14th or 15th  
century, as little baked or fried pastries made to look vaguely like  
little cabbages, hence "chouettes".

Or did you mean that the 17th-century stuff is OOP?
