Sorry for the time lag, but i get this list in Digest form.

You or someone said there were already a lot of Middle Eastern feasts.
I asked if those feasts were historical or modern.
The way you have phrased your reply leads me to assume that there are
already too many SCA-period Middle Eastern feasts.
This puzzles me, as i am on quite a few SCA-Middle Eastern oriented
e-mail lists and i hear about a great many more modern feasts than
SCA-period based ones.
I am additionally puzzled by the second part of your reply.
> There is so much more available text ;*>
I gather from the emoticon that you're making a joke, but, well, i
guess i've been eating too much tuna lately and the mercury is
effecting my thought processes, because i don't "get" it.
Clearly there are many more modern resources than historical sources.
However, while only a limited number of historical books are
available in English, there are actually a lot of historical recipes
(some of those books have a lot of recipes).
If you are tired of historically based Middle Eastern cuisine, i will
not bother to post my list of available historical resources with my
comments.
If you meant the opposite (as jokes sometimes do), then please
clarify... and i will post my list.
