_A Soup for the Qan_ describes a cuisine with elements of Chinese, 
Mongol, and Persian (due to interaction between the Mongol rulers of 
China and the Ilkhans in Persia), so may be the closest you can get.

If you want rice and noodle dishes and the Middle East is 
sufficiently eastern, there are lots of period Islamic recipes with 
rice or noodles.
