[Sca-cooks] Top 10 Pantry Items for the Medieval Cook

If you could have only 10 pantry items for your medieval pantry,  what would your top 10 items be?  These are items that would keep in a cool area like onions or dried fruits, or in dry areas such as grains or nuts.  I'll post a question for favorite spices/herbs/salt later, so for this question you can assume that whatever spices you'd want to go with your pantry items are over in your spice bos/cabinet.


Would you take your 10 from what was available to people in one area and time, or would you have the eclectic pantry of a trader's family?
