[Sca-cooks] "Green Bags"

I use them all the time. The only way to keep tender herbs fresh for any
length of time at all, and hardier veggies will last up to several weeks
longer than they would in regular bags.
They aren't new, I'm working on the same package I bought about 7 years ago,
but since some have developed holes, I think I may have to spring for a new
package soon.

Subject: [Sca-cooks] "Green Bags"

Greetings

I saw an advertisement on TV touting "Green Bags" which
are supposed to keep your fresh produce fresh longer in
the fridge. Googled it and am wondering if the claims
are a bit 'to good to be true'. If it worked...seems
like it would be wonderful to be able to buy produce for
feasts a bit ahead of time. Any thoughts from our SCA Cook
experts?
