[Sca-cooks] OT Anyone from Atenveldt know Dennis O'Connor?

Dennis O'Connor used to be an active poster on the SCA Usenet group 
rec.org.sca. Recently someone posted saying that he had died. Various 
people posted sympathy--at which point someone else posted that 
Dennis was alive, well and in law school. It is now unclear which of 
the two posters is engaged in a rather nasty hoax.

Is there anyone on this list who knows or knew him? His SCA name was 
Buri Dogshin.
