here is what our team mounted. i hope that if anyone on
this list was on the other teams, they will post their
menu as well. i was just too tired to think about what
they were saying they made. 8) all i can remember is that
wonderful looking walnut stuffed bread and the unusual
beet/venison/herring salad with horseradish whipped cream.

handwashing with cardamon scented water

saffron wine
brochan folchep -- milk/leek/barley soup
bread and butter

haggis -- pork/venison trimmings, lard, barley, pepper,
salt -- psuedo-haggis really
marinated herring with horseradish cream
pickled carrots
barley flat bread with flax seed

venison sausage patties w/ plum sauce

venison/pork/vegetable pie

stuffed pork rondele
millet pilaf w/ mushrooms
honey/mustard/horseradish sauce

sweet beet pie w/ cumin
barley puddings w/ dried cherry port sauce and cream
sugared walnuts

cumin tea as digestif

we tried to keep the dishes as close to the viking
scenario given. we used a bit of everything and almost
all of some things.

it was a blast!
