Interesting.  I've never heard of an allergic reaction to glucose.  Usually, 
when there are problems it is the over or under production of insulin which 
in turn reduces the blood glucose level by converting glucose to glycogen. 
The symptoms you list are similar to those of extreme hypoglycemia, but that 
is usually relieved by the ingestion of glucose.

Fructose is an isomer of glucose, producing a similar sweetness without 
triggering an insulin reaction.
