We've decided that it would be nice to have
a special Subtleties Display at Midrealm Coronation
in April. In case anyone on this list would like
to take part, here's the information/invitation.

In honor of Their Most Royal Majesties

A display will be held at their Coronation
Featuring and promoting the art, science, and craft of

Sotelties and Subtleties.

We would like to invite all Citizens of the
Midrealm and honoured Guests of other kingdoms
to participate in a display of such works of
Sotleties and Subtleties
as they might devise and bring
to the Coronation of Dag and AnneMarie* *on
Saturday, April 28th, AS XXXXI (2007 CE)
Sponsored by The Baronies of the Roaring Wastes and North Woods.

Medieval and Renaissance Subtleties or Sotleties and Illusion Foods are
those highly ornamental devices or show pieces, that might have a graced
a Coronation or royal wedding. They were sometimes eaten, but sometimes
they were used as table decorations. For the purposes of this display
items should be able to be placed on a table and sit out all day without
benefit of being heated or cooled. Imaginative pieces that combine
medieval elements with recognizable and traditional Society elements are
welcome. Dragons in any edible medium are especially welcome.
Documentation welcome but not required.
