i think i am the only member of the team on this list, so 
i shall be the one to say ...

OUTLANDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

for the second time, winners of siege cooking.  what a 
(delightfully surprising to me) curve ball the 
coordinators gave us with the 'viking' theme.  two 
words... salted herring!

we had a great team of two experienced cooks (one mid/late 
period, one early), one semi experienced, and two 
neophytes who were just jems to work with.  oh, yes, and 
countess claudia, a dishwashing dynamo!

will be happy to put up menu later after coming back from 
the vet (if anyone is interested)

can't wait for next year.  but there are other contests in 
the interim...
