[Sca-cooks] Sugar - sulaimani

    The Spanish translation for sulaimani or sulaymani is azucar rojo 
(red sugar). It is defined as unrefined, the least pure of  sugar as it 
was boiled twice and left to settle. It is mentioned in Perry and 
Huici's translation of the 13th C Hispano-Arab MSS but they not defined 
it. Now from Stefan's sugar msg I understand that black sugar is the 
result of the first boiling so what would salaimani translate as?
