How about a pretty fringy tutu sort of thing that can be unsnapped to serve
as a cloth for wiping things up?  All sorts of snap-on attachments for the
stand come to mind - a mirror for checking one's make-up, a cup holder for
the martini or coffee close at hand, a phone-holder, a small fan for
blowing away perspiration from the strain of using a mixer, a cup for
holding scrapers or spoons, a recipe holder...  For the memory-challenged,
how about painting on (or having a removable decal) of how many cups equals
what weight (or vice versa) - or other assorted measurements...
