I don't think you need to go looking for 
cookbooks specifically for diabetics. I think 
you'd be better off learning about the glycaemic 
index/load of foods. 
http://www.glycemicindex.com/ has some 
information on it. That way you will be better 
position to have a look at any recipe and figure 
out how suitable it is or if a recipe needs some 
adjustment.
