If you have an appropriate shelter that will keep your bedding dry (and your 
bedding is off the ground on some sort of a frame), then bring your featherbed 
and down quilt.  Be it August or not, it is not uncommon to find frost on the 
ground at Pennsic if you wake early in the morning.  It doesn't happen every 
night or even every year, but it's happened quite frequently over the last 18 
years.
