we have the international firey foods festival in 
albuquerque most every year.   was just last week, 
actually.  we stopped going 5 or 6 years ago because 
things went from flavor to 'let's see how hot we can make 
it'.  no fun.  got to a point where the husband-monster 
was almost killing himself at least once a festival w/ 
something that was too hot even for him.
