Thanks, Phlip and Maire. We have a good sized piece of land so the hens would have lots of room to spread out. I'll start researching and working my husband around to the idea. There's nothing quite so good as fresh eggs. :) I've wanted chickens for a long time but never thought I could deal with the smell. Ciao! Eibhlin
