Not necessarily a matter of courtesy (common or otherwise)....
Unless I specifically need to include both SCA and weekday names (let alone locations), I tend not to.  Less confusing to my non-SCA contacts.  And redundant for those who know me well enough to actually care.

  Moi aussi, Niccola.  That is why since very early days my sig has included
  both SCA and Mundane location.  Once upon a time on this list it was a
  common courteous thing that most people did.  I don't know when or why it
  fell by the wayside.
