Awesome idea!  Not only for soldiers, but all of us need cookies at some 
point that can be shipped and survive the process.  I have a whole set of 
bar cookies based on one simple recipe that my mother began using when she 
was sending cookies to her poor kiddies away at college, lo these may years 
ago.  Glad to share if you want them.
