[Sca-cooks] A wonderment ;-)

So, last few weeks I've been dribing by this new business that opened,
thinking it sounded like a good idea, and vaguely wondering what their
products are like- Edible Arrangements, wherein, for those of you who
haben't been exposed to them, they take fruit and make it into a cut-
flower like display:

Great was my surprise a few minutes ago, when a truck pulled into our
driveway, and delivered one!

As it happens, Margali (whom many of you know) was in the hospital for
surgery this week- nothing major, as an outpatient, but she'll be off
work for the rest of the month- and the folks at work had fruit-bombed
her ;-)

Very nice arrangement, with the fruits I've tried (strawberries,
grapes, pineapple, cantaloupe, honey dew) being as fresh and tasty as
you could ever hope for from commercial fruits, and two kinds of
chocolate sauce- Classic, and Diabetic fudge. I like them both,
although Margali doesn't like the diabetic kind. I'll likely eat them
both (chocoholic? Me? Nah... ;-) although I'll be very easy on the
diabetic fudge, since it's sweetened with sorbitol, and we all
(should) know what that can do to your digestion.

Very nice arrangement, and a very good idea for any of the things we
usually send flowers or fruit baskets for. Thinking maybe some of you
folks might use this as an idea for the upcoming holidays ;-)
