You had said you were going to serve gyngerbrede. I stated the myth about
spices and rancid and a situation at one demo, though I was informed it
happened before when serving something that is spiced. So this is a brief
trail:
Gyngerbrede is spiced, this brings up spices, which bring to mind/to
conversion the myth that people have heard about spices and medieval food.
Does that help?
